God is Able to Make All Grace Abound to You

The Latest Word For Such A Time As This – And God is able to make all grace abound to you!

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times; having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. – 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV)

What a powerful promise!

If we are willing to generously share with others in the Name of Jesus, we will have what we need and our lives will be full of good deeds that bring glory to God.

What was one of the very first lessons we had to learn as young children?

Share!

Only this time, as children of God, let’s share in the Name of Jesus to bless others so they may come to His grace.

Generous giving, as one theologian once said, “Seems very hazardous”; but Paul stated the truth here that where there is a generous spirit, God will provide the means of expressing it.

Our heart and vision for Kingdom Multiplication 153 (KM153) is to generously share with others in the Name of Jesus in order to bless them so they may come to the knowledge of His Saving Grace.

You may hesitate to give generously to the Lord if you worry about having enough money left over to meet your needs.

Paul assures us that God is able to meet our needs.

Is God able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times; having all that you need, you will abound in every good work?

The amount of any man’s giving is inevitably influenced by his trust, or mistrust, of the promise here.

The person who gives only a little will receive only a little in return.

Don’t let a lack of faith keep you from giving freely and generously.

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

How remarkable are these words?

Each is loaded with substance and continues to increase all the way through the verse.

  • All grace – Every kind of blessing, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound (thrive, flourish, grow, do well) in every good work.
  • God gives us everything, WHY? That we may do great things with it, and so receive more blessings.
  • All things in this life, even rewards, are to the faithful, seeds towards a future harvest.

In Proverbs 22:9 we read that “A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor”.

Paul McCartney or Bryan Adams could take a simple sheet of paper, write a song on it, and make it worth millions of dollars–that’s creative genius!

Wayne Gretzky could sign his name to a piece of paper and make it worth millions of dollars–that’s capital!

A crafts-person can take a piece of material having little or no value and shape it into something of great value–that’s art!

Almighty God can take a worthless, sinful, pride-filled life, wash it in the blood of the Savior, and make it a blessing to humanity–that’s Grace!

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times; having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
